Camera deals at Fry's on Father's Day June 15

A trio of digital cameras are advertised by Fry's Electronics today, Father's Day, June 15, 2008, in the Sunday paper.

The slightly older Olympus SP-560uz with an 18x superzoom lens is going for $350. This camera has a follow-up, the 2008 model SP-570uz, which is currently priced at around $400 at online reputable retailers. The new SP-570uz has a 20x zoom lens instead, and it is slightly wider as it starts at 26mm. Yes, a 35mm equivalent lens of 26mm-520mm. Oh my!

If you like a new 2008 model Canon Powershot with lots of buzzword features (3" LCD, face detection, image stabilization), the Canon SD790IS has been discounted to $320. But don't get too excitied, limit one per customer!

Last but not least, for fans of the xD memory card, the Olympus FE-340 is available in a million different colors. Okay, not a million, but you can get it in blue, pink, black, silver, red or pink! You can make a camera rainbow even. The rpice? $150 after instant savings. This camera has an 8-megapixel 1/2.5" sensor with a 5x optical zoom lens, and a 2.7" LCD. This is a slimmer camera as it uses LiIon batteries. The Olympus line-up used to be comprised of AA-based models, but now Olympus is down to just one AA-camera, the entry-level FE-310.

You can also get a free after mail-in rebate Epson photo printer with the purchase of a digital camera. See their store or website for more details, terms and conditions and such.

And if you like picture frames, the 7" Kodak P720 digital picture frame goes for $100, and no rebates. This is limit one per customer and has the usual picutre one could expect from such a product.
