Canon XSi and Olympus E510 specials at Cameta!

Cameta has a couple of tempting DSLR bundles that have been moving on up in the Amazon movers and shakers categories. Let's take a quick look!

The Canon Digital Rebel XSi is bundled with the 18-55 EF-S IS lens,k and the 75-300 f/4-5.6 III Lens, along with a 4gb Transcend SDHC card, a Camera Incognito bag, Spare LP-E5 Replacement Battery, and a number of other minor accessories thrown in as a bonus. The price for all these? $1130 with $23 shipping. Now if you need these, then it looks like a deal worth looking into closely. On the other hand, if you only need the camera, or the camera and one lens, then the extra savings may not be worth getting extra stuff you don't need. Ultimatly of course it's your choice :)

The second Cameta bundle features the Olympus E-510 DSLR, along with the 14-42 and 40-150 digital Zuiko lenses, and a 2gb Transcend CF card (133X), a Camera Incognito 1000 bag, a spare BLM-1 battery, and a number of other smaller accessories. As you may recall, Olympus just recently announced the new E520 DSLR, so the E510 is not the latest and greatest model. But considering that it has sensor shift stabilization, and being the older model is the tried and test model, and it is also the best bang for the buck compared to the E520, it is certainly worth a look. Especially if you are a fan of, or interested in exploring Four Thirds. And since Four Thirds is a new format, getting the 2-lens kit is a good idea, unless of course you already have a collection of 4/3rds lenses.
