Digital Camera Deals for Weekend (heading into 4th of July week)

Yes, we are just six days away from the 4th of July, so the sales and offers are heating up! This is the weekend right before the holiday, so the retailers are increasing the offers, hoping to entice more buyers!

We start our specials round-up at OneCall.com, where we find some nice deals, starting with the Pentax Optio Z10 Black going for $170 and this includes free 3-day FedEx shipping. The Z10 is an 8mp 1/2.5" digital camera with folded optics for its 7x optical zoom lens. To learn more about it, be sure to check the reviews at Photography Blog, and Digital Camera Review.

Next we find the gorgeous in red Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5R for just $186 with free 3-day fedex shipping included. Not bad! This is a 2008 model, and its lens starts at 30mm, a compromise between those who like wider than usual but not that wide. If you are not familiar with this lovely camera, be sure to check its review at high-tech supersite Trusted Reviews.

Everybody loves red! So for just $118 you can get the Nikon Coolpix L18 Ruby Red, with shipping starting at $12. This looks a lot different in ruby red than in shiny silver. It is of course part of the Nikon entry-level L-series in their line-up and has an 8mp 1/2.5" sensor and 3x optical zoom lens, with AA-batteries and SD/MMC memory card support.

Last but certainly not least, at $3960 and free shipping we find the Canon EOS-1D Mark III (Body Only). This is Canon's speed demon professional DSLR, and this is a nice price since most of the other reputable online dealers have them at $4050.

Do note that these are weekend specials, and the advertised prices will expire by Monday, or earlier if OneCall runs out of stock. OneCall is one of the reputable online dealers out there, and is included in Amazon's list of featured sellers, along with the likes of Calumet, Camera, Adorama, J&R World, Vanns of Montana (not to be confused with Vans skateboarder footwear), and such.
