Father's day Camera Deals at Target

Target, just like the other chain stores, are jumping in the Father's Day Gift buying with more and more electronics, and those include a few digital cameras!

Starting with the Samsung S85, a 2007 model, with an 8mp 1/2.5" sensor and a 5x optical zoom lens, along with a 2.5" LCD and face recognition of course. The price is $98, making it a $100 camera deal.

If instead you prefer a more recognizable name, the Canon Powershot A590-IS can be yours for $180, but, yes but, you also receive a $20 Target gift card! So the effective price is $160. If you are buying this as a gift, you have many choices:

  • Give them both as gifts to the same person
  • Give the camera to one person, the gift card to another
  • Give the camera as a gift, keep the gift card
  • Give the gift card as a gift, keep the camera

And if you want a glorified digital picture frame, the 19" Westinghouse L1975NW widescreen LCD computer monitor can be yours for just $147, the lowest price ever at Target, according to Target of course. Not a bad deal for a 19" widescreen!

If you prefer a traditional digital picture frame, a 5" model from an unspecified brand is offered for $49. This includes a 14-picture internal memory (unknown picture size) and an auto-start slideshow feature. The frame is black and it is available at the Electronics department.

And how about a tiny 1.5" LCD pocket digital picture frame for $19? It can store up to 60 photos of unspecified size. Brand not mentioned. But it includes a carrying pouch and the colors will vary by store.

And now a really glorified digital picture frame, a 26" Westinghouse 720p LCD HDTV with a built-in dvd player for just $469. That's right, under $500! This is model number SK-26H590D/570D from Westinghouse. Not bad at all!

But wait, there's more! A dual-screen Digital Decor digital picture frame goes for $99. Each screen is seven inches. Includes a remote. Ideal if you want to feature two people or two themes at the same time with one frame. It looks like it is a wooden frame but you can't really tell from the picture.

And if you must buy a memory card from Target, they have a 2gb Kodak SD card for $18. Not the best price for sure, but if you have a $20 Target gift cad to spend, why not (I guess).
