Fuji Z10fd special deal, $100 by J&R on Amazon!

If you are interested in the Fuji Z10fd, get your credit cards ready! J&R World is offering the blue version of the camera on Amazon for $100! Yes, just one hundred dollars plus $7 shipping and handling.

The camera uses a standard (not SuperCCD) 7-megapixel 1/2.5" sensor, and has a 3x optical zoom lens. There is no mechanical (sensor-shift) or optical (lens property) image stabilization. It has a 2.5" LCD and of course face detection. The good news is that it uses both SD and xD memory cards, making it a good purchase for both xD and SD owners.

Fuji Z10fd reviews
The Z10fd is not a "young" camera, Fuji has already released the Z20fd that replaces it, while the Z10fd itself replaced the Z5fd, which uses a 1/2.5" SuperCCD. But as you may already know, the benefits of SuperCCD are starting to show at the 1/1.7" sensor size. The 1/2.5" did not have as big of an advantage over "traditional" sensors.

Anyway, a number of review sites have taken a look at the Z10fd, including Digital Camera Review, Steve's Digicams, and CBS CNet. Yes, CBS is buying CNet! Also reviewed at Photography Blog. For more reviews and customer reviews, Google is your friend!
