Kodak ZD710 for $140, and 2gb SD card for $8

J&R World has posted their weekend specials and among them we find the Kodak Easyshare ZD710 for just $140. Yes, one-hundred-and-forty, not a typo! This is a 7-megapixel 1/2.5" digital camera with a 10X optical zoom lens with the equivalent focal range of 38mm-380mm. Please note however that this does not offer optical or sensor-shift image stabilization, which perhaps explains the low price. However, the price is amazing considering the feature set. If you have steady hands, or you plan on taking pictures in sunlight, or you have and use tripods and monopods and other out-of-camera stabilization techniques, this is definitely worth a look!

For more on the Kodak ZD710 be sure to check its reviews by Australia high-tech site Good Gear Guide and by CNet.

And now to the 2gb memory card, it is the Dane-Elec 2GB Secure Digital Memory Card offered by J&R World as well.

Remember the prices are good for the weekend or while supplies last, so don't sleep on them if these are something you are interested in. Perhaps you can bookmark the page and revisit after you do more online and bargain hunting if this is something of interest after all.

And we conclude with a fun accessory under $100. If you haven't jumped on the mp3 player bandwagon yet, this is a good opportunity: The Sandisk SDMX14R-004GK-A70 Sansa Fuze 4GB MP3 Player - Black for just $90, also offered by J&R World.
