The Sunday paper has a new wave of digital cameras on sale at Fry's Electronics, startign with the Canon S5-IS selling for $320, which is about $10 more than Amazon at this very moment, depending of course on which 3rd party seller at Amazon you look at.
Also from Canon, the Powershot SD950-IS is on sale for $360, which is very close to the Amazon price as well.
Okay enough Canon, the Olympus SP-560uz, Olympus's 18x hyperzoom, their second in the series, is on sale for $350. Do keep in mind that Olympus released a new hyperzoom in 2008, the SP-570uz which has a 10mp 1/2.33" sensor and a 20X crazy zoom lens.
Panasonic has its own camera to promote, the Lumix LZ10, available in silver or black for $230. This has a 5x optical zoom that is not totally wide-angle but it's wider than most AA-based cameras in its segment.
Disney fans can take their next masterpiece picture with the Diseny Camera with a 1" color display and 16MB of internal memory. All that for $40.
You can also get a 1.1" digital key chain for $414, and that holds up to 56 images and has a rechargeable battery - the ad says.
Last but not least, the Lasonic JL-305 is a 8.4" digital picture frame going for $127, and support the three major memory card formats. Those being SD, Memory Stick and Compact Flash.
