New wave of Amazon digital camera deals

We have a new wave of deals at Amazon, with more and more temptations becoming harder to resist. Starting with something utilitarian, an 8gb Kingston SDHC memory card, class six, going for just $32 with free super saver shipping. Not bad, since you are paying just over $4 per gigabyte! If you have an older digital camera, be sure to check that your camera is compatible with 8gb SDHC cards or if the manufacturer has issued firmware updates to add the ability to use higher-capacity SDHC cards.

One of the hottest digital cameras of the year is the Panasonic TZ5K which you can get for $265 and free shipping. Yes, this is a new low price superzoom fans! Of course this is not a perfect camera, but it's a fun camera for sure. If you are not familiar with it, be sure to check the in-depth review by dpreview.com.

If you are a Nikon DSLR user and are interesting in flash units (Speedlights), then you might be interested in this special bundle from Cameta Cameras: It includes the SB600 AF speedlight along with a number of bonus items including a AA NiMH charger, two sets of rechrageable NiMH AA-batteries, and Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce Diffuser, along with TTL Flash Cord, and Stroboframe 350 Flash Bracket. All that for the one low price of $280! Here is a picture of this kit:

Moving along, we find the older Kodak V803 going for just $120 and available in either silver or black. Note that this has an 8-megapixel 1/1.8" snesor, not the newer and smaller 8mp 1/2.5" sensor. But obviously the sensor size is only one of the parameters that determine image quality, so be sure to check for reviews and such if you are not familiar with this (or any other) digital camera.

And if you want to get a camera with a 3x optical zoom but still pay $80 and nothing more, then you have a choice, the GE A735 or the Kodak C713, an Easyshare camera, also with a 3x optical zoom lens.

Hope you found something of interest in this round-up, if not stay tuned for more updates. And don't forget to subscribe to the text feed, we are syndicating the full-text-feed, so you can follow all the latest updates using your online or desktop newsreader, compatible with both RSS and Atom.
