Camera specials at Office Depot this week

This week Office Depot tends to the entry-level of the digital camera market, with a speical offer on the Kodak M753 for just $100, making it a $100 camera deal! But wait, there's more! You can make it a "combo meal" by adding a Kodak case, a 1gb Ativa SD memory card and a 25pk of Maxell blank Pro CD-Rs for $120. Clearly targeting first time digital camera buyers and the entry-level with this combo. A starter kit if you must.

The most advanced camera listed there is the Panasonic TZ5 offered at $300 after $50 of instant savings. This price is okay for brick and mortar, but you can also get this camera for $270 at Amazon and other similar online discounting retailers.

Furniture, Technology & More!

If you want to pay bottom dollar, literally, the Kodak Easyshare C713 can be yours for $80! Watch out cameara-phones and webcams, there's a new game in town ;-) For about twice as much, at $150, you can get the Sony Cybershot S750, part of Sony's entry-level S-series of market-share grabber models. Last but certainly not least, the Canon SD1100-IS for $220. which is a fairly reasonable price for brick and mortar.

Memory Cards
Hey, what about the 4gb Sandisk SD card for $25? That's pretty much the standard brick and mortar sales price for the 4gb standard card! Hey, what about a 4gb microSDHC from Sandisk with an adapter for use in other SD-family drives? It goes for $30! Forty dollars will get you a Sandisk Extreme II Compactflash and $45 will get you a 4gb Sony MemoryCrapProDuo. Asy you can see, MemoryStick costs almost twice as much as SD. Pay up Sony fans :)
