Cool Casio EX-Z80 leads the way at Staples this week

This week's special at Staples are headlined by the very fashionably trendy Casio EX-Z80 going for $150 after a $10 Easy Rebate. Easy Rebates can be submitted online, so they are not a pain like the traditional mail-in rebates. This camera offers 8-megapixels, a 3x optical zoom lens and a 2.6" LCD display.

Meanwhile you can get the Olympus FE-360 for $110, or the FE-370 or $160. These are entry-level but Lithium-ion based digital cameras, but sadly for the stubborn bigwigs at Olympus, they only take xD memory cards, which makes these only relevant to those who have xD memory cards, or want to buy a memory cards that is on riding hard on the highway to permanent obsolesence.

Last but not least, the Sony W150, available in multiple delicioso colors and it has the usual specs of our time, 8mp sensor, 2.7" display and 5x zoom lens. The price is $180. Did we forget to mention face detection? :-)

And if you have a camera that takes a "normal" memory card (which is most brands), you can get the 4gb PNY SD card for $15 or the tiny microSD for also the same price from the same company also. Also.

Printing at home?
And if you are the home DIY photo-printers, there is a Kodak 100-packsk of premium four-by-six paper for $9. That comes out to 9-cents per 4x6 pictures which is a nice price, but you also have to factor in the cost of printing, which is the cost of the printer plus the cost of the ink and things like that.

Also, they are running a 2-for-1 special on Canon photo papers, both for 4x6 and 8.5x11 sizes. These are in inches of course. Also.
